1. Data Stays on Your Device
FinTraicker stores everything you enter — transactions, accounts, budgets, goals, and wishlist items — in a local database on your device, protected at rest by iOS Data Protection. We operate no servers, require no account, and never receive, see, or sell your financial data.
2. On-Device AI
The advisor runs on your device using Apple's Foundation Models. Your questions and financial figures are processed locally and are not sent to us or to third-party AI providers.
3. Receipt Scanning
Camera and photo-library access is used solely to read receipts with on-device text recognition. Images are processed locally and never uploaded.
4. Family Plans and iCloud
If you create or join a family savings plan, that plan and its contributions are stored in iCloud (Apple's CloudKit) under the plan owner's account and shared only with the people they invite. This is the one optional cloud feature; your other financial data never leaves the device. Apple's iCloud terms apply.
5. Purchases
FinTraicker Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details. Your purchase history is used only to unlock Pro features on your device.
6. Siri and Shortcuts
If you log expenses with Siri, Apple processes your speech under Apple's privacy terms; the resulting transaction is stored only on your device.
7. No Tracking, No Analytics, No Ads
FinTraicker contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no trackers. We collect nothing.
8. Deleting Your Data
Your data belongs to you. Deleting the app deletes the local database. Family plans you own can be deleted in the app and are removed from iCloud for all participants; you can also leave a shared plan at any time.
9. Children
FinTraicker is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.
10. Changes and Contact
